Safety & Security

At Holy Angels' School, the safety, well-being, and dignity of every child is not merely a policy — it is a sacred responsibility we carry with deep sincerity. From the moment a child walks through our gates to the moment they return home, every measure is in place to ensure they feel protected, comfortable, and cared for.

We believe that a child can truly learn only when they feel truly safe.

CCTV Surveillance

Our school premises are equipped with comprehensive CCTV surveillance covering all key areas — corridors, entrances, staircases, playgrounds, and common spaces. Cameras operate throughout school hours and are monitored to ensure constant vigilance.

This system serves not only as a deterrent to any untoward incident but also provides parents with the assurance that their child is in a watched-over, secure environment at all times.

Safe Entry & Exit

All entry and exit points of the school are supervised by designated staff during arrival and dispersal. Students are released only to authorised guardians, and strict gate protocols are followed to prevent unauthorised access to the premises.

Dedicated Washroom Facilities

We recognise that dignity and privacy are fundamental to a girl child's confidence and well being at school. Holy Angels' provides dedicated, clean, and well-maintained washroom facilities exclusively for girls — designed to ensure hygiene, privacy, and comfort at all times.

These facilities are regularly inspected and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, so that every girl feels at ease and respected within our school.

Personal Care & Individual Attention

Beyond physical infrastructure, what sets Holy Angels' apart is the personal care and attention extended to each and every student. Our staff are trained to be observant, compassionate, and responsive — noticing when a child seems unwell, distressed, or in need of support.

  • Every child's health and emotional well-being is monitored with genuine concern.
  • Staff are sensitised to respond promptly and appropriately to any situation involving a student's comfort or safety.
  • A culture of trust is nurtured so that children feel safe to speak up, seek help, and be heard.

Child-Friendly & Safe Environment

Holy Angels' upholds a strict zero-tolerance policy towards bullying, harassment, or any form of misconduct within the school premises. We foster a culture of respect, kindness, and inclusion — where every child, regardless of background or ability, is treated with dignity.

Our teachers and non-teaching staff are regularly oriented on child safety norms and responsible behaviour, in line with CBSE guidelines on child protection and school safety.

Medical Check-up

The health and well-being of every child is of utmost importance to us at Holy Angels' School. As part of our health checkup initiative, we conduct an Annual Medical Check-up for all students, ensuring that every child's growth and health is monitored regularly.

For 2 to 3 days each year, a team of experienced doctors and nurses from St. Philomena's Hospital visit our school premises to conduct comprehensive health checkups for all students. Each child is examined individually, and doctors provide personalised health advice based on their specific needs and any health concerns identified.

As part of this initiative, special attention is given to our girls from Classes 9 to 12, who receive dedicated guidance and counselling on menstrual health and hygiene from the visiting medical professionals. This sensitive and important conversation, conducted in a comfortable and supportive environment, helps our young girls understand their bodies better and make informed, confident choices about their health.

Emergency Preparedness

The school conducts periodic fire drills and safety mock exercises to ensure that students and staff are well-prepared and calm in the event of any emergency. First aid facilities are available on the premises, and staff are equipped to handle minor health incidents promptly while coordinating with parents and medical support as needed.

To further strengthen our emergency readiness, our teachers underwent a Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Training Programme conducted at St. Philomena's Hospital. This First Aid and Life-Saving Skills Training was led by Dr. Maheshwari (MBBS, DEM – DNB Emergency Medicine), a certified BLS & ACLS Instructor (American Heart Association) and ATLS Provider.

Through this hands-on training, our staff were equipped with critical life-saving skills — including CPR, choking response, and emergency first aid — ensuring that, in the rare event of a medical emergency, our teachers are confident, capable, and ready to act swiftly to protect the well-being of every child.

At Holy Angels', we don't just teach children — we watch over them, care for them, and walk alongside them every single day. We believe that a healthy child is a happy and successful learner, and our Annual Medical Check-up reflects our on-going commitment to the physical and emotional well-being of every student in our care. Your child's safety is our highest priority, and we are committed to upholding it without compromise.
