RECOMMENDATIONS

Dear Parents,

1. Please refer the School calendar regularly and sign the remarks column in full.

2. You are reminded that without your help and co-operation not much can be expected or achieved merely with efforts made by the school.

3. Kindly send homemade food in your child’s lunch box. Additionally, please include fruits on Tuesdays, vegetables on Wednesdays, and sprouts on Thursdays.

4. All complaints shall be made directly to the Principal.

5. Presence of parents at the school Annual Sports Day, School Day and other common public activities of the school will be much appreciated.

6. Students have to reach school on time. First bell will be at 8.20 a.m. and 8.25 a.m. the gate will be closed.

7. Students should come in clean, neatly ironed uniform with clean socks and shoe. Trimmed nails, hair tied up with black ribbon.

8. On special occasion, Mehandi is permitted on only one palm.

9. Double ear piercing is not permitted; only simple stud earrings may be worn. Anklets are also not allowed.

10. Students from Balavatika to Std. IV are allowed to wear simple colour dress on their birthdays.

11. Private tuition is strictly forbidden.

12. Irrespective of lesson taught or Homework given, every student has to spend quality time to study every day.

UNIFORM

1. On School days and for school function or when going out as a school group, the students should wear the school uniform.
2. When required, only a navy-blue cardigan can be used with the uniform. Sleeveless pullover is not permitted.
3. Blue inner pants are only allowed for the Karate classes
4. Sports Uniform to be worn on the following days
5. Adorning hair with flowers, fancy clips, berets or coloured ribbons is not permitted.

TESTS AND EXAMINATIONS

All parents must prepare the child well for the Tests & Examinations.

If the pupil is absent for one or two subjects in the annual examination on account of illness or any other valid reasons with previous permission of the Principal, her performance in the first term examinations shall be taken into account for the purpose of promotion. Tests and Examinations will be conducted regularly as per the direction of CBSE. Every test and exam has to be taken seriously and it is important for the child's promotion to the next class.

CODE OF CONDUCT

1. Attendance on the re-opening day, and after each vacation is compulsory; violation of this rule will be viewed seriously.

2. School begins with assembly at 8.30 a.m. and the students are required to be at the campus by 8.25 a.m.

3. Student should attend school regularly and should be punctual for daily classes.

4. Leaving the premises during school hours requires permission from the Principal and a written letter from the Parent or the Guardian.

5. School uniform is compulsory; Students who are not in proper uniform will invite disciplinary action.

6. Every student should bring the school calendar and wear the Identity card issued by the school every day. All details in the handbook must be duly filled in with correct details.

7. In case of loss of identity card or school calendar, students must inform the office in writing and apply for a new identity card or school calendar by remitting the prescribed fee. Duplication and misuse of identity card or calendar will be dealt with seriously.

8. Neatness and cleanliness in dress and person will always be insisted upon.

9. Care of school property and cleanliness of the school premises is the duty of every student.

10. Students should always move in a line and in silence to their class. Running, playing or shouting inside the class room is not allowed.

11. No student may enter other than her own classroom without permission.

12. Students are expected to behave in a polite and respectful manner on all occasions, in the school campus to all members of the teaching and non teaching staff. Public behaviour, good moral and gentle ways are a must as the school is judged by their conduct.

13. Action will be taken on students who are using indecent language, using violence on other students, indifferent to studies, persistent irregularity, lack of punctuality, copying in test and exams and engaging in other malpractice; students will have to answer the Principal and bring their parents to the Principal.

14. Absence should be written in the leave record for one or two days and it should be signed by the parents with date.

15. No application for leave will be considered unless made in writing by parents or guardians. Parents must inform the school in case of absence from classes for three or more days with a letter to the Principal.

16. Any child who is suffering from a contagious/ infections disease shall not be allowed to attend school until a medical certificate is produced stating that the child is free of infection and fit to attend school.

17. Every student must take part in sports, and other activities unless declared physically unfit or exempted by the Principal.

18. All complaints shall be made directly to the Principal.

19. Students are responsible for their cycles, books, pens, watches, clothes, lunch boxes, sweaters, bags and other belonging; even though the school does take precaution to safeguard them. All cycles should be locked when they are in the school premises.

20. As CBSE has implemented the three language policy, the students are expected to speak in English during school hours, speak in Kannada during Kannada period and speak in Hindi during Hindi period.

21. Students should respect and obey their teachers, school staff and leaders. If necessary they should speak in soft tone to each other.

22. Students should complete their notes, projects and homework on time

23. 90% of attendance is compulsory.
